26. The Hunchback of Notre Dame - maybe the most dour Disney movie ever. I mean, it was well done, but I don't think I've ever been tempted to rewatch it.

25. Treasure Planet. Lasted a lot longer than it should have. Fun movie, nothing too special.

24. 101 Dalmatians: Cruella DeVille is a fantastic villain, and her theme tune is iconic. And the Titular Dalmatians are friggen adorable. It's a fun, charming movie, but its rather standard fare - it does everything adequately, but little excellently. So 24 seems about right.

23: The Aristocats: Okay I'm gonna go on a rant here ... This is the most bullshit fucking plot in any movie ever. A butler who has been an old woman's servant and companion for YEARS decides he doesn't want to play second fiddle to a bunch of fucking cats and be cut out of her will entirely. In the opening minutes of the movie, we see Edgar put up with so much bullshit. He cooks all the food in the house and he gets assaulted by that frail harpy's senile lawyer/friend that clearly wants to bang her. Edgar puts up with so much shit, and I totally understand him snapping.
In addition to that: There is no protagonist in this plot. Duchess is so naive and and useless that she's frustrating to watch. The kittens are all comic relief and have nothing going for them. I guess we were supposed to be rooting for Thomas O'Malley? Tom is annoying as shit though, so fuck that guy ... cat ... whatever.
I just can't watch this movie without thinking that I only relate to the antagonist. At least in the other Disney movie with a relatable antagonist, the rest of the characters are just MORE rootable. Edgar is a guy who gets dealt a shit hand after being treated like garbage for years and snaps, and I can't abide any longer that uses that dynamic as the foundation of its plot.

21. Alice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland has a lot of bright colors and colorful characters, and it is pretty offbeat, even for Disney. I just never enjoyed it the same way I enjoyed the others, and it was this or Jungle Book.

20. Sleeping Beauty: I'll be the first to admit - I was never the target demographic for a movie like this. And honestly, generally when Disney goes into this school of fantasy, with a few exceptions, I'm just not a fan. "Princess'" never really did it for me, for probably obvious reasons, and this was the most boring of the bunch, in my opinion. I've kept it around because its a staple, but I don't want it making it further than Top 20.

19: The Princess and the Frog: I have literally never heard anyone talk about the actual content of this movie, which is telling. It should not have gotten this far.

I would idol this, but it made the top 20, which is fair. Maybe I have a soft spot for this film because it's the only Black Disney movie, but it's in my top 10.

18. The Rescuers - I appreciate you guys not cutting this until now. This movie holds a ton of sentimental value for me, but the time has come to bid it adieu.

17. The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book fits the bill of the Aristocats/Sword in the Stone/Robin Hood, late 60s, early 70s period of "It's good but not great". While Jungle Book is a fun movie, it doesn't have the same kind of impact in art design or doesn't have an amazing story, the way the classics or the Renaissance films do. 17 out of 49 isn't a bad spot for it to end up.

16. Beauty and the Beast: A solid movie, with a message I think we all can get behind. And there's some visceral moments that I think are incredibly well done - Beast is a magnificent character, in my opinion. And Bella is fun enough, but a bit bland, and I just didn't find her overly rootable. Fantastic movie, but not Top 15, based on the ones we have left. Idol'd by Brian.
