15. Mulan - It was Frozen before Frozen, but with worse songs and Eddie Murphy. It was affirmational for little girls, and it gave us an insight into a different culture, but it's really a lesser Renaissance movie. It made the top 20, so it should be proud of itself.

14. Lady and the Tramp. Fun, charming movie, but lacks the same fun as others or the interesting story. 14th feels about right.

13. Peter Pan: Tons of fun, a great addition in the Disney catalog. I have nothing bad to say about it, I just have more good to say about the one's above it. I guess my only criticism would be it has issues with pacing, but even so, great movie.

11. Wreck-It Ralph - a very fun movie, but it's not a top 10 film. It should be proud to be #11. Idol'd by Teresa

11. Hercules: Awesome movie, and I love me some Greek mythology (and Danny Devito), but it's very much in the same ballpark in terms of Mulan/Tarzan as just shy of amazing. They're second string to the Aladdin/Beauty & the Beast/Lion King trio, so it should join its' fallen brethren. Idol'd by Lex.

11. Snow White & The Seven Dwarves: We've given it it's proper due as the original movie, and making Top Ten is great for it. But they've greatly improved in their techniques over time, and while the movie is charming, and innovated, is doesn't deserve to any farther than this. Does Dwarf names doe.

9. The Little Mermaid: Whatever nerds. Idol this cut. This is a movie that teaches little girls to sacrifice her most self-defining talent so she can go be completely submissive and silent for a boy she thought was cute. She has no agency in her own fate, and the protagonist who DOES have agency is the bland prince type character. It's a good movie with a terrible message, and I'm stating my case so SHUT THE FUCK UP GRANT. IDOL IT YOU FUCKING NERD FIGHT ME

I get that some of the messages are an issue, but its a great movie, so.......IDOL.

Okay except it's not "Follow your dreams" it's "Follow an idealized version of a boy" and it's not "Sacrifices are necessary" it's "Literally sell your soul to the devil so you can ride some dude's disco stick maybe"

10. Frozen - just because it's a big hit does not mean it's a GREAT film. It's entertaining and affirmative for little girls, but it's not better than the rest of the movies left. Except for Wreck-It Ralph. It's definitely better than that in every way, shape, or form except this list.
