Okay, there are a ton of animated Disney movies, but for the purposes of this, the packaged films will all be left out, the shorts will be left out, Pixar films will be left out, straight to DVR (lol) sequels will be left out, and Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 will be left out. So, only Disney-made, animated, full-length features will be eligible, bringing the overall movie count down a lot. The movies eligible in this rankdown are:

There will be 4 rankers in this, including myself. Each person will have a singular idol that they can use to save a film, the person who cut the idol'd film will no longer be allowed to cut it. Each ranker must submit three cuts for me to have on file, in case they aren't online to cut. If the person has no films on file, then after 12 hours, they will be skipped in the order. There are 49 films on the list of eligible ones, so we will continue cutting until we are left with 44 films (11 cuts per person). Now, when we are down to the final 5, each person will PM me the list of their ranking of the 5 remaining films. Based on their averages, we'll have a winner.

I finished configuring everything for the rankdown, so it'll be us four. We'll take turns in the sign-up order, and I'd like to have at least one cut per person on file.

49. Home on the Range. Home on the Range is a pretty shitty movie all around, and in my mind, is only one of two legitimately bad films. It doesn't have the same sense of whimsical fun a lot of other Disney films have, and it was a low point among the weak 2000s for Disney. Dull film all around, doesn't have a fun plot or animation style, and the strong cast (Judi Dench AND Steve Buscemi together) couldn't save it. Try again, Disney.

I'd like to point out the vast majority of Disney films are good, fantastic even. This is not one of them.

48. Planes: Cars wasn't a great movie, but whatever. You win some you lose some. Cars 2 befuddled me, but I guess if the kids reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally like it, fine, make the damn movie. Can't begrudge someone using a license to print money, I guess. And then that somehow spun off into...this thing. This was a soulless attempt to grab money, and it was done awfully. C'mon, no one was crying out for this.

47: Planes: Fire Rescue - okay but the sequel tho grant ...

46. The Rescuers Down Under - I may rate The Rescuers a bit higher than most, because the 70s were a Disney wasteland and The Rescuers was the best of a poor crop, so it was what I had. But the sequel was just piss poor and sullied the memory of a not-that-great-to-begin-with original.

45: Dinosaur. While the 70s and 80s had a lot of weaker films, the 2000s sucked. Seriously. Dinosaur's CGI was impressive, but that's it. The story sucked, the characters sucked, and it didnt even feel like a Disney film.

44. Meet the Robinson's: Fun fact, I went through a phase when I was a kid where I watched a bajillion movies - sometime in middle school I think? And this was one of them. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...yeah. Like, I thought it had a lot of potential, cool future movie and all that - nope. I can't remember much about it. Oh wait! I remember that it was awful. Bye.

42. Atlantis - I remember having high hopes for this flick and then getting mad I paid good money to see it.

41. Bolt. Lost pet + Miley Cyrus = a mediocre film. Bolt wasn't particularly good, but it was offensively bad either. Using Pixar's technology, Bolt was expected to be as good as a Pixar film, and it wasn't even close. There's a reason Pixar staff had to step in and help making Disney movies, and Bolt is that reason. Seriously, thanks for Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen. Beyond that, there's nothing.
